Can I take the rental car into India & Bhutan ?

This is usually allowed but it will take 2/3 days to take a road permit with authorize the cross border. Therefore, always state your request at the time of booking or at the rental desk to avoid additional fines. Extra costs can be applicable.

How many hours do i use a car for Private Tours?

How old are the rental vehicles?

Do I need to pay driver’s expenses while travelling?

No, our price includes driver’s expenses so that you do not have to pay for driver’s expenses. Only driver tips will be as your own.

Will anyone else be travelling in the vehicle I book?

If you book a private service, the vehicle is reserved for your group only. Shuttle services might be shared and might have several stops.

How do I make a booking on your website?

First you have to log in the website and request for time to Pickup date and time. Select the pickup point and drop point then start the search button. Number of available vehicles will display on the browser. Select your vehicle type and make a checkout button.

How do I pay for my transfer?

You can pay us via Paypal or once you reach to the destination then you may pay us in cash.

Can I book a transfer with more than one stop?

Extra stops need to be in the same destination as the final stop or in the same area/zone as the airport is limited to 5 minutes. Otherwise you have to pay extra money

What happens if I can’t locate my driver?

How is the road to Nagarkot?

The road is passable but is in poor condition. In parts it is very poor but you had a standard sedan style car not a 4×4 and you still made it fine. Kathmandu Car Services would recommend doing as we did and hiring a good quality guide and driver.

Nagarkot is situated 30 kms east of Kathmandu. The drive to nagarkot is extremely safe as the road goes through villages throughout. The private sedan is the cheaper option and takes about 1 hour 30 minutes.

How is the road from Kathmandu to Pokhara?

The road through Kathmandu is atrocious, but once you are out of the valley, it’s merely bad. Travel, on the whole, is quite slow because of all the heavy traffic but the views are gorgeous. Vast majority of roads in Nepal are barely passable. Chitwan probably the worst of the touristy roads.

Is it possible to rent a car on self-drive?
